The Skull Bracket Story

Skull Bracket was created in 2011 out of pure necessity to find a stronger system that was American made to hang mule deer, elk, antelope, buffalo, moose, whitetail, bear, and other skulls.  

Located in Laramie, Wyoming, the idea for Skull Bracket began when I looked at the existing skull hanging systems and found most were inexpensive bent sheet metal hangers that were not strong enough to hold heavy mule deer and elk skulls and antlers. Many other "European Skull Mounts" I was coming across were flimsy, expensive, and foreign made.

So I decided to make my own skull mounts, out of American steel, in my garage in Wyoming. I was determined to make the strongest skull mount I could. I wanted a skull mount hanger where I could control the quality of the materials and the build.  The result was a skull bracket so strong I wanted to share it with others.  I prefer Made-in-the-USA products on my wall and hope you feel the same way.

Business has steadily grown and products improved over the years and we now offer different models to choose from depending on the type of skull you are hanging.
